This story is basically an elaborate swap between the characters of
the Trixie Belden mysteries, who are owned by Random House and some
of the events of Charles Dickens' classic story, A Christmas Carol.
I am not making any money from this story. Also, there are a few explanatory
footnotes at the end, but I don't think they are critical to understanding
the story if you prefer to skip them while reading.
